"A Lover's Plea"

--Sara Jean Kelley, Alan Bennett, Isaac Hayden--

Thought I heard you singing, calling out my name

But it was just the whisper of the falling rain

Thought I saw you dancing underneath the moon

But it was just my shadow reaching out for you

Lover if my plea

Makes it to your shore

Then that big blue sea

Will keep us apart no more

Thought I felt your breath gently on my skin

But it was just the jealous spell of the lonesome wind

The world and time stand still until we meet again

Forever the memory o send me to your arms again

"Rest on the Tide"

--Isaac Hayden--

It's a cloudy day at the beach south of town

I watch the water and wait for peace of mind

I usually find comfort in the chaos of the ocean

And listening for the sailor's lullaby

So maybe I'll head out

Away from the coast

Out where there's nothing

And nowhere to hide

A moment from heaven

Where stars fill your eyes

And there's no more running, or reason to fly

You just rest on the tide

"Welcome To This Life"

--Sam Brooker--

This is dedicated to the most important people in my life..a gift to you...

Welcome To This Life-Sam Brooker

so Your time has come
to be here with me
oh the places you will go and the things that you'll see

feel the air you breath
taste the tears that fall
if you're broken down
remember love will conquer all

you can call it fate
just to be alive
there's a million stars inside you
welcome to this life

It's not where you look
that will set you free
let the truth within your heart
be the words that you speak

you can call it fate
just to be alive
there's a million stars inside you
welcome to this life

I've known you from the start
before you ever came
like the blood within my soul that courses through your veins

you can call it fate
just to be alive
there's a million stars inside you
welcome to this life

"The Getaway"

--Isaac Hayden--

You don’t have to worry honey, its gonna be ok

Yea I’ve got all the money, leave now and we’ll be safe

Watch the sunset over the waves

Tomorrow, everything will be better

 if we make the getaway

Pull the hat down low over your eyes

We won’t stop until Mexico

Did a bad thing, for a better life

You know to stay would be criminal

Put all your faith in the getaway

I know you’re good for your word baby, there’s no turning around

Always called us wild and crazy, guess we’re proving it now

On the horizon a clean escape

Tomorrow, everything will get better

lets just make the getaway

"A Place to Stand"

--Sam Brooker & Isaac Hayden--

Where would I go if I didn't have you to love me

What would I do if I couldn't reach out for your hand

Remember being alone in a crowded room

Where every other soul had someone to be next to

I was always on the move, 'til you gave me

A Place to Stand

Baby you've always known that lovin' me, wouldn't be easy

I did my best, I've done everything to prove you wrong

So if you don't know what you mean to me

Baby I will follow wherever you lead

I was always on the move, 'til you gave me

A Place to Stand

What can I do? to keep you from leaving

What can I say? to make you walk back through that door

If you don't know what you mean to me

Baby I will follow wherever you lead

I was always on the move, 'til you gave me

A Place to Stand
